If you’re worried that a child or young person is at risk of neglect, harm or abuse, it’s important that you tell someone.
If you believe that a child or young person is in immediate danger you should contact the relevant emergency services by ringing 999. You can also report less urgent concerns to the police on their non-emergency number, 101.
If the child or young person you are concerned about is not in immediate danger you should report your concern to the multi-agency safeguarding hub (MASH).
