Learning and Growing Together
Children are encouraged to read three times a week, and we would like this to be written into their reading records. Sometimes when children are tired, busy or unable to find a lot of time then just reading 2 or 3 pages of a book will be beneficial to your child. From this you can ask them questions about the story, ask them to think what might happen next, then the following day re-cap on the story and see if their prediction were correct. Children can read a variety of books from school, or the library, or home books and comics, menus, signs around them, and all of these can be recorded into their reading records.
Thank you for your continued support.
