Following the enforced school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, like all schools in England we fully re-opened in September. We undertook a comprehensive risk assessment, which was approved by the Governing Board in July, we review our risk assessment on an on-going basis. Our most recent review can be found below.
Communications will be sent to parents and carers by email and copies of any updates will continue to be added to our website and our Facebook pages.
In the NEWSLETTERS section there are copies of the letters that we have sent to parents and carers about the school during last few months.
Every Friday in our special assembly we play and sing along to Proud by Heather Small. During he pandemic the staff made a special video for all of our families to watch and sing along to during these difficult times. We hope that it brings you joy!
Safeguarding during school closure.
A copy of our safeguarding policy is available under the Key Information section. The principles within it apply during the Covid-19 situation but we have produced an annex to the policy which can be found below. In normal circumstances if parents have safeguarding concerns we would expect them to report them to class teachers in the first instance, to the Head Teacher Mrs Griffiths, to Mrs Maltby Smith the Family Liaison Teacher or to Miss Humphries the Early Years Lead or to Mrs Quincey the Deputy Head.
Staff can be contacted via email if there are safeguarding concerns out of school hours on the following addresses:
Mrs Griffiths: firstname.lastname@example.org
Mrs Maltby Smith: email@example.com
Miss Humphries: firstname.lastname@example.org
Any urgent or immediate concerns should be reported to MASH on : 0300 126 1000
