Following the enforced school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, like all schools in England on 5th January 2021 we closed to all pupils except those of key workers and vulnerable children. We are now in the process of preparing to open again to all pupils on Monday 8th March. We have reviewed our risk assessment, which has been approved by the Governing Board, we review our risk assessment on an on-going basis.
Communications will be sent to parents and carers by email and copies of any updates will continue to be added to our website and our Facebook pages.
In the NEWSLETTERS section there are copies of the letters that we have sent to parents and carers about the school during last few months.
Parents, carers and pupils can access all of our remote/home learning by clicking onto the secure area of the school website during the school closure and for any periods of absence form school if your child needs to isolate. You will also find links to some useful websites to support remote learning during our current National lockdown.
Safeguarding during school closure.
A copy of our safeguarding policy is available under the Key Information section. The principles within it apply during the Covid-19 situation but we have produced an annex to the policy which can be found below. In normal circumstances if parents have safeguarding concerns we would expect them to report them to class teachers in the first instance, to the Head Teacher Mrs Griffiths, to Mrs Maltby Smith the Family Liaison Teacher or to Miss Humphries the Early Years Lead or to Mrs Quincey the Deputy Head.
Staff can be contacted via email if there are safeguarding concerns out of school hours on the following addresses:
Mrs Griffiths: email@example.com
Mrs Maltby Smith: firstname.lastname@example.org
Miss Humphries: email@example.com
Any urgent or immediate concerns should be reported to MASH on : 0300 126 1000
