Temporary Deputy Head

Due to the maternity leave of the current Deputy, the Governors wish to appoint a temporary Deputy Headteacher with a proven track record of excellent classroom practice who is child centered and will support our school values. This could also be a fantastic secondment opportunity!

We are seeking an ambitious and energetic professional with experience of leading teams, monitoring teaching and learning, successfully leading improvement and raising standards. Our PROUD ethos is valued by our families and staff and as a school we expect everyone to actively contribute to and promote our strong, positive ethos. We are looking for someone with experience leading Reading & RWInc phonics across the school. The applicant will need to be able to monitor and drive forwards improvements in reading in line with our School Improvement Plan.

The applicant will need to have a good understanding of Inclusion and SEND. If you are a dynamic and inspirational leader with the capacity to grow and develop in the role, if you have initiative, constructive enthusiasm, a thorough knowledge of all key stages and the ambition to play a major role in the leadership and management of our school then we would love to hear from you.
