At Denfield Park Primary School we are committed to the safeguarding of all pupils at our school. Please see our Safeguarding Policy for more detailed information of the processes within school.
At Denfield our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mrs Griffiths and the Deputy Safeguarding Lead is Mrs Hanney. Mrs Macsweeney and Miss Humphreys are also part of the safeguarding team.
If you’re worried that a child or young person is at risk of neglect, harm or abuse, it’s important that you tell someone.We’re not asking you to make judgements or interfere unnecessarily in other people’s lives, we just want to make sure that the child gets the help, support and protection that they may need.
If you believe that a child or young person is in immediate danger you should contact the relevant emergency services by ringing 999.
If the child or young person you are concerned about is not in immediate danger you should report your concern to the multi-agency safeguarding hub (MASH).
